Are your services covered by insurance?
We are considered out of network with most insurance carriers.
Payment is made at time of service and then submitted by you for reimbursement to your medical (not dental) insurance carrier.
Many are reimbursed fully or partially.
Our therapists are neither speech therapists nor physical therapists but the insurance carriers tend to put our services under those categories of therapy in order to find coverage for their subscribers.
How can I get insurance coverage if you are out of network?
First, ask your insurance carrier if they will offer you or your child a GAP exception or a one time exception.
Most insurance carriers WILL offer this but you have to ask.
This exception allows you or your child coverage outside of network for a period of time (weeks or months) or a period of visits.
To have a GAP exception or one time exception approved BEFORE the initial exam, typically requires a letter of necessity.
Ask your dentist, orthodontist, pediatrician or general doctor for the letter of necessity.
We can provide a letter of necessity only AFTER the initial one hour exam.
