Founder and Head Therapist
Spearheading the practice, Sandra Coulson has dedicated the majority of her working life (no she is NOT interested in "retiring") to furthering the work of Myo-Functional Therapy. She has done this through contribution to both the local community and throughout the globe by educating practitioners from the fields of Dentistry, Oral Health, Speech Pathology and Allied Health fields on her methods.

Laura Eckhardt holds a BA in Social Sciences from Colorado State University and Education Teaching Licensure from the University of Denver. Part of her training was in spending 5 years working for her father, a dentist in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She trained under Sandra Coulson and has been working for Sandra Coulson and Associates for over five years. Laura has completed and was awarded the certification in OM in 2012.
Laura has many years of experience working with children of all ages and has two children of her own. She works hard to make therapy fun and individualized to meet the needs of each particular patient. Laura works with patients for orofacial muscle dysfunction, tongue thrust, thumb and finger habits, open mouth rest posture and tongue placement.
Laura Nanos studied and graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a double major. She earned a degree in both Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences/Speech Pathology and Early Childhood Education. Throughout college Laura spent many years working with children in various educational settings.
After college Laura pursued a career in education, she became a substitute teacher, as well as, a Kindergarten teacher. When Laura met Sandy in 2015, she introduced her to Orofacial Myology (OM). Laura decided to switch her career from education to OM so she could pursue her passion of helping people succeed in life. Since then Laura has completed specialized OM courses through The Coulson Institute and has worked along side of Sandra.
Originally from Southern California, Julie graduated with honors from The University of North Carolina, with a BS degree in dental hygiene. Prior to her dental hygiene curriculum, she was a dental assistant for seven years, specializing in Orthodontics. She enjoys working with adults and children to develop healthy dental habits and positive dental experiences.
She feels that her background in the dental field has provided her with a different perspective and level of expertise as she embarks on a career as an Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. She feels privileged to be part of Sandra Coulson's team because of the quality of care and people with whom she will be working who are unsurpassed in their area of expertise and devotion to their patients.
Cyndi Dionigi-Huffman has been a Speech-Language Pathologist since the late 1970’s, working privately and in the public schools. A fourth generation Coloradan on both sides, she embraces her heritage, especially the side that taught her to cook and eat Italian. Cyndi has minors in audiology and phonetics, an endorsement in reading, an interest in humor, and is constantly seeking new life adventures.
After referring clients to Sandra for over 30 years, the two finally struck up personal and business ties when she accompanied a family member to an evaluation. Cyndi is currently training to become a breathing specialist so that she willl get to collaborate with Sandra on a weekly basis while discovering ways to help clients sleep soundly, perform better athletically and utilize optimal breathing patterns to enhance every aspect of their lives.
